I moved to Warren from Providence between Christmas and New Year of 2009 into a house that my husband had been renting to a group of college boys. To say that I was not excited about the move is an understatement. However, after a lot of cleaning and home improvement I have found a comfortable home here. Also, the more I walk around, eat, shop and make new friends the more I am taken with the charms and quirks of this small town. More and more I find myself gushing to friends about something that tickles me about living here. Since they are sick of hearing it, I am turning to this blog. My hope is that this website can help keep Warren residents (and maybe even you Bristol/Barrington people) aware of events going on in our town.

Good Morning! I love your blog and FB page! My name is Diane Jennings and I am the Proprietor of Luca located at 139 Water Street (across from the Wooden Midshipman). I will be carrying pre-owned hip and trendy children’s clothing and shoes, fashionable maternity clothing as well as select baby gear, toys, books and shoes. I am planning on opening (hopefully) the third week of January.
I’ve networked with Joe at Sunnyside he proposed a Fashion Show at his restaurant mid-winter or perhaps February school vacation week.
I look forward to becoming an active member of the Warren community and helping promote local businesses and causes!
